Dual-Chain Scenario

DeltaFeeds processes data within a cost-effective network for affordability, then transfers it to a target network, such as Ethereum, where costs are typically higher. Throughout this process, it maintains the high security standards of the target network. This dual approach efficiently combines reduced costs with robust security, making it a versatile solution. DeltaFeeds employs on-chain data compression, bundling multiple metrics into a single storage slot to reduce gas costs.

Single-Chain Scenario

Both calculations and data writing are performed within the same chain.

DeltaFeeds provide proxy contracts that emulate Chainlink oracles, allowing protocols to easily switch to our data feeds with just an address change.

MedianFeeds + ProofFeeds

Chunk's second oracle optimizes data collection on networks often associated with elevated costs, like Ethereum.

Data Collection in MedianFeeds: Validators write prices in a cost-effective network. Once a quorum for each price is reached, the contract calculates the median and records it. This process is conducted in a more affordable network, ensuring economical data accumulation.

Verification in ProofFeeds: At the end of each epoch, validators compute a Merkle tree for all metric prices and write the Merkle tree root. In your DApp, our SDK calculates the same Merkle tree and sends it to ProofFeeds. With ProofFeeds, prices are rigorously verified and recorded. Even in networks typically associated with high gas prices, the process is executed at a minimal cost.
